An Indian travel content creator expressed dismay after revealing the stark reality of an Indian tourist destination while traveling with a foreign friend.

Let's go to India to see what happened.

At a tourist spot in Uttarakhand, India, plastic bottles, snack bags, and food wrappers are scattered indiscriminately across the mountainsides.

An Indian man who produces travel content visited the area with a Taiwanese friend and was shocked by the messy surroundings.

Unable to stand it any longer, the two of them stepped forward and started picking up trash themselves, but other tourists nearby reportedly just stared blankly and did not readily help.

Sharing the video, the man expressed regret, saying it was shameful that foreigners have to clean up local tourist sites.
