A heartwarming video of a man steadfastly assisting an elderly woman with mobility issues across a crosswalk is drawing widespread attention online.

On November 4, a post was uploaded to social media stating that a touching scene was witnessed near Gongdeok Station.

The footage shows a man supporting an elderly woman who has difficulty moving as they slowly cross a crosswalk.

Even after the pedestrian signal turned red, the man continued to support her, matching her pace all the way across.

Vehicles waiting at the crosswalk also held their positions and waited until the grandmother safely finished crossing.

According to the author of the post, the man had been crossing the street with an acquaintance when he spotted the elderly woman, asked for his acquaintance's understanding, and stepped in to help her.
