Lee Dong-ho, the eldest son of President Lee Jae-myung, has filed a defamation complaint against Representative Joo Jin-woo of the People Power Party, who raised allegations of so-called "emperor golf" involving the president's family.

Earlier, Rep. Joo alleged that during a summer vacation in August last year, President Lee played golf with his eldest son and daughter-in-law at Hansandae Country Club inside the Jinhae Naval Base and then traveled to their lodging on Jeodo Island by helicopter.

In the complaint, Lee reportedly countered, "I never visited Hansandae Country Club during the summer vacation, nor did I play golf there."
