From flying urban aircraft to various drones and futuristic flight vehicles.
Cutting-edge technologies leading the future aviation industry have gathered in one place.
Marking its 3rd anniversary this year, the expo features major companies and institutions, including Korean Air, LIG D&A, and Korea Airports Corporation.
The event showcases a wide array of future aviation technologies, from drones and UAM aircraft to vertiports—takeoff and landing facilities for urban aircraft—and anti-drone technologies designed to detect and neutralize illegal drones.
In particular, the city of Goyang signed a three-way business agreement with a domestic UAM integrated operation specialist and a Japanese electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft manufacturer to lay the groundwork for the commercialization of urban air mobility.
Through this agreement, the city plans to establish a verification foundation for UAM and expand cooperation in the future aviation industry by combining the technologies and operational capabilities of private companies.

Professional conferences and export-investment consultation sessions for technology exchange and commercialization among businesses will also be held.
In addition, hands-on drone piloting experiences and an international drone coding competition are prepared for citizens, allowing them to experience advanced aviation technology up close.
The expo runs through tomorrow (November 6) at Exhibition Hall 1 of KINTEX in Goyang.
