Train operations across the entire Ui-Sinseol Light Rapid Transit line in Seoul have been delayed since around 6:00 a.m. today (November 5), causing inconvenience for citizens during their morning commute.

Authorities found that an error occurred in the electronic interlocking system during the process of dispatching trains from the depot, delaying departures and resulting in wider operating intervals than usual.

The Ui-Sinseol Light Rapid Transit operator is investigating the exact cause of the malfunction while sequentially dispatching trains and carrying out restoration work to resume normal operations.
