"Police investigation star ratings and reviews."

It means just what it sounds like.

We have now reached an era where people can leave star ratings and reviews for police investigations, much like they do for restaurants or delivery services.

Recently, an online platform has emerged that allows the public to evaluate police departments and individual officers in charge regarding their investigations.

Users can anonymously leave feedback on issues such as delayed investigations, procedural steps, and the demeanor of police officers.

They can also rate investigators with stars across categories including procedural compliance, investigation attitude, and promptness.

The operators of the site explained that the initiative is intended to let citizens evaluate the investigations they personally experienced based on facts.

However, experts express concern that this phenomenon reflects deep-seated distrust toward the police, warning that anonymous evaluations could potentially lead to malicious slander or private retaliation.
