If you look at the current radar imagery, rain clouds are blanketing the country.

Currently, rain is falling at a rate of about 5 to 10 millimeters per hour in most regions across the country.

There are also places in Seoul experiencing light raindrops.

As the precipitation clouds gradually move eastward, the rain will begin to subside in western areas during the daytime.

The expected rainfall amount for today (November 5) is relatively heavy, up to 40 millimeters in parts of the southern coast.

Other regions will generally see 5 to 20 millimeters, while the Seoul metropolitan area and Gangwon province will receive a relatively light amount of around 5 to 10 millimeters.

However, as a weak pressure trough passes through the central regions once more during the night, there will be brief periods of light rain in some areas overnight.

Skies nationwide will be mostly cloudy today, and residents in Jeju should watch out for strong gusts of wind.

Seoul currently starts off at 12.4°C (54°F), and today's high in Seoul is expected to reach 17°C (63°F).

Starting tomorrow, cold air from the north will flow in once again, causing temperatures to drop sharply, and the cold weather will persist through the weekend.
