SHINee member Minho has issued an apology regarding the recent "pushing" controversy that arose during a marathon event.

Minho participated in a marathon event last Sunday and completed the full 42.195-kilometer course in 3 hours and 18 seconds.

However, a video spread online showing a pacemaker running alongside Minho and appearing to push his back, leading some netizens to raise issues that it violated the rules.

In response, Minho posted on social media, saying, "Everything happened due to my own shortcomings," and adding, "I feel ashamed."

He further stated, "I will not accept the results of this marathon and will not forget the lessons learned through this process."
