A claim has emerged that a customer was drinking coffee, felt something stuck in their mouth, thought it might be a lemon and spat it out, only to find it was a cockroach.

This is a photo from a post claiming that a cockroach was found in a vanilla latte.

The author wrote, "I had almost finished drinking when something got caught in my mouth, so I thought it was a lemon." They added, "There is no way a vanilla latte would contain lemon, so I wondered if it could possibly be a bug, and when I spat it out, it was indeed a bug."

They also attached photos like this one.

Afterward, the customer vomited several times in the bathroom and called the store, but said they became even more furious because an employee responded with a laugh, asking if there were any other solutions besides a refund.

The author reportedly reported the incident to the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety.

Meanwhile, the headquarters of the coffee franchise stated that they have apologized to the customer and processed a refund.
