A fire broke out at a scrap metal processing plant in Hwangnyong-myeon, Jangseong-gun, Jeollanam-do, at around 6:37 p.m. today (November 3), and was extinguished after about 1 hour and 10 minutes.

No one was injured in the blaze, but a 77-square-meter office building was completely destroyed, along with office furniture and fixtures.

Fire authorities are investigating the exact cause of the fire.
