▲ Seo Gyo-rim, who missed the S-OIL Championship due to rib pain
The fierce competition between Kim Min-sol and Seo Gyo-rim that heated up the 2026 Korea Ladies Professional Golf (KLPGA) season will reach its climax at the final tournament of the season.
The Daebo House D Championship, the season finale of the KLPGA Tour, will be held as a 54-hole, three-day event from November 6 to 8 at the West and South courses of Seowon Hills in Paju, Gyeonggi Province (Par 72, 6,649 yards).
The tournament, which features the top 60 money list leaders up to the S-OIL Championship that concluded last week, offers a total purse of 1.2 billion won with 300 million won going to the champion.
Super rookie Kim Min-sol, who enjoyed a stellar season with three wins, sits at No. 1 on the prize money list with 1,601.81 million won and No. 2 in the Player of the Year (Grand Prize) points race with 525 points.
Having already locked up the Rookie of the Year award, Kim holds a lead of a little over 200 million won over second-place Seo Gyo-rim, who has amassed 1,413.21 million won.

With 300 million won awarded to the winner, if Seo wins and Kim finishes below solo second, Seo will capture the prize money crown.
"I am feeling a bit of physical fatigue toward the end of the season, but my condition is being well-maintained without any issues," Kim said. "Although I am in a title race with Seo Gyo-rim, I worked hard this year and am grateful that the results followed, so I just want to focus on doing my absolute best until the very end."
The Player of the Year race favors Seo.
Seo, a four-time winner this season, leads the standings with 563 Grand Prize points, holding a 38-point lead over second-place Kim (525 points).
This tournament offers Player of the Year points comparable to a major championship.
The winner will receive 100 points, runner-up 50 points, third place 48 points, and players finishing outside the top 10 will receive no points.
If Seo finishes inside the top 10 in this tournament and Kim does not win, Seo will secure the Grand Prize.
However, Seo's recovery from injury remains a variable.
Seo withdrew from the Iceburg Golf & Seoul Shinmun Open last October and the LPGA Tour BMW Ladies Championship held in Haenam, and she sat out the S-OIL Championship last week entirely.
"It has been tough dealing with injuries, but after a week of combining recovery exercises and practice, I am in a much better state of recovery," Seo said. "Major titles are on the line in the final tournament, but I will definitely defend my No. 1 spot in the Grand Prize standings, which is awarded to the player who played consistently well throughout the entire season."
