At around 9:15 p.m. on October 31, a 46-year-old South Korean tourist, identified as A, was attacked by a three-person armed gang at this location.
At the time, A was reportedly on the way to buy food when the suspects, riding motorcycles, approached and attempted to snatch a bag.
When A resisted, one of the assailants fired three shots into the air. Although A was not hit by the gunfire, the victim fell and sustained injuries to the head and knees.

Local police, responding to the sound of gunfire, arrested one 30-year-old suspect at the scene, while the other two fled.
Local police confiscated a handgun, six rounds of ammunition, and license plates suspected of being forged.
This is not the first time a South Korean tourist has been targeted in a firearm robbery in the Philippines.
In April of last year, a South Korean tourist was shot and killed by a two-person robbery duo in the popular tourist city of Angeles.
South Korea's Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated, "We are verifying the extent of the damage and providing consular assistance," adding, "We have contacted Philippine police authorities to ascertain the facts and urged a swift and thorough investigation."
