Regarding an SBS report yesterday (November 1) that the Air Force's 3rd Flying Training Wing mobilized military band soldiers to hold a drinking gathering during duty hours, and that the wing commander who consumed alcohol cancelled flight plans for the following day, the Ministry of National Defense stated that it "recognizes this as a grave matter."

A spokesperson for the Ministry of National Defense said today, "The Minister of National Defense instructed the Office of the Inspector General to strictly verify the facts," adding, "We will strictly carry out necessary measures after verifying the facts."
