An absurd scene was captured in the Armenian parliament.

This is the National Assembly building in Yerevan, the capital of Armenia.

During a meeting, ruling and opposition lawmakers suddenly rushed at each other, trading punches and shoving in a physical brawl.

Emotions flared between the two sides after a ruling party lawmaker raised issue with the political involvement of the opposition floor leader's family.

As excited lawmakers tangled with one another, the meeting room instantly turned into chaos, and some were even caught throwing chairs.

In the end, some lawmakers sustained injuries, and an ambulance was even dispatched.

It was a scene where the parliament, which should be discussing policies, was stained by a fistfight.
