A man who stole vehicles used a designated driver to avoid suspicion and opened car doors with a cane, continuing his elaborate crimes.

However, he was ultimately arrested by the police.

CCTV footage was posted on the Korean National Police Agency's YouTube channel on October 30.

The scene is a parking lot in Jeju late at night.

After deciding to steal a vehicle, the man called a designated driver service to move someone else's car in an attempt to confuse investigators.

He then arrived at a hotel.

After booking a room, he headed straight to the parking lot to scout for vehicles to break into.

After inspecting several cars and successfully committing the crime, the man left the scene without staying at the hotel.


The man's crimes continued.

During the process, he even used a cane to open car doors to avoid leaving fingerprints.

Despite his meticulous methods, the police launched an investigation and eventually caught up with him.

He was emergency arrested on charges including vehicle theft.
