Professional football club Suwon FC has reclaimed second place, securing an automatic promotion spot in K League 2.

Suwon FC secured a 1-0 victory against Ansan Greeners with a winning goal by Ha Jung-woo in their Hana Bank K League 2 Round 31 home match held at Suwon Stadium today (November 1).

Ha Jung-woo received a pass from Lee Jae-won near the sideline from the midfield and unleashed a surprise right-footed mid-range shot into the back of the net.

It was just 20 seconds into the second half.

With today's win, Suwon FC accumulated 57 points, overtaking Seoul E-Land (54 points), who lost 2-4 in their away match against Yongin FC yesterday, to climb back up to second place.

With three matches remaining per team, a comeback title win remains a tough challenge with a 6-point gap behind league leaders Suwon Samsung (63 points), but the dream of returning to the top tier remains alive.

This season in K League 2, the top two teams earn automatic promotion to K League 1 next year.
