Wonju DB defeated Changwon LG away, propelled by Ethan Alvano, who scored 34 points.

DB won 104-98 in the 2026-2027 KCC Professional Basketball regular season away match held at Changwon Gymnasium today (Nov. 1).

Breaking a two-game away losing streak, DB improved to 6 wins and 5 losses, moving up half a step from a tie for 4th place with Daegu KOGAS Corporation to take 4th place alone.

LG failed to reward fans who came to watch their delayed home opener with a victory.

As Changwon Gymnasium underwent facility replacement construction including the scoreboard, LG played its first 9 matches of the 1st round entirely away and played its first home game on this day.

LG dropped a notch to 7th place (4 wins and 6 losses).

A turning point occurred about 5 minutes into the 3rd quarter when DB's Allen Williams fouled out with 5 fouls while LG was trailing by 5 points.

Although LG seemed to tighten the chase, DB instead widened the gap, spearheaded by Alvano, who continuously scored with dazzling individual skills.

Alvano scored 8 consecutive points in about a minute, including a three-pointer and a jump shot following a brilliant dribble.

With Lee Yong-woo's three-pointer dropping around the 2-minute mark, DB built a double-digit lead at 76-66.

LG did not just stand by.

In the middle of the 4th quarter, LG narrowed the deficit to 3 points through Jung In-duk's three-pointer and consecutive scores by Yang Hong-seok.

Then DB widened the gap back to 8 points with Lee Yoon-ki's three-pointer, followed by Kim Bo-bae's layup score stemming from Lee Yoon-ki's steal and Alvano's fast-break pass.

LG continued to pursue with Yu Gi-sang's three-pointer near the end, but ultimately failed to turn the game around.

Alvano soared by scoring a game-high 34 points and dishing out 8 assists.

The performance of Lee Yong-woo, who accounted for 20 points including 5 three-pointers, also shone.

Rayjon Hammond, who endured alone on the court as a foreign player after Williams was ejected, also did his job with 28 points and 9 rebounds.

For LG, it was painful that scoring option Carl Tamayo had to leave early in the early part of the 3rd quarter after stepping on teammate Assem Marei's foot and suffering an ankle injury.

At Goyang Sono Arena, Suwon KT defeated Goyang Sono 103-96.

Paris Bass led the victory by recording 34 points, 9 rebounds, and 9 assists, including a three-pointer with about 1 minute remaining that put KT ahead 99-91.

Extending its winning streak against Sono to 3 games, KT rose to 6th place (5 wins and 6 losses), while Sono sat in 8th place with 4 wins and 7 losses.
