Operations on the northbound Line 7, which were suspended earlier today (November 1) due to a train malfunction, fully resumed at 2:07 PM.
At around 12:23 PM today, a northbound train on Line 7 stopped near Jangam Station due to a vehicle malfunction.
Seoul Metro stated, "A train malfunction has occurred" and added, "We have initiated recovery operations."
As a result, train operations across the entire northbound section of Line 7 experienced disruptions. However, Seoul Metro successfully completed a "return operation" by bringing in a normal train to push the disabled train from behind, normalizing operations 1 hour and 44 minutes after the delay began.
A Seoul Metro official said, "We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused to subway users."
