A four-vehicle collision involving three cars and a bus occurred near the Gunwi Interchange on the Chuncheon-bound Jungang Expressway in Gunwi-gun, Daegu, at around 10:25 a.m. today (October 31).

Authorities determined that the accident occurred when an SUV crashed into two preceding passenger cars in the first lane, after which a bus trailing behind collided with the SUV.

The accident left three people, including the drivers of the SUV and the passenger cars, with minor injuries, and they were transported to a hospital.

Severe traffic congestion stretched for about 5 kilometers near the accident site.

Police believe the SUV driver failed to pay attention to the road ahead in a congested section and are investigating the exact circumstances of the incident.
