The Seoul Women's Family Foundation (CEO Park Jung-sook) announced that the "Woman AI Week," held for two days from October 28 at the Seoul Women's Plaza in Dongjak-gu, Seoul, concluded successfully with the participation of some 500 citizens.

This event was part of the Seoul Metropolitan Government's "Seoul Smart Woman Project," designed to explore practical ways for citizens to utilize AI by connecting the knowledge and experience of AI experts and women who have actively integrated AI into their actual work.

On October 28, the first day of the event, the Foundation hosted the "Science Communication Forum" in cooperation with the Korean Federation of Women's Science and Technology Associations, introducing the changes AI will bring to fields such as brain science, medicine, and management, along with potential everyday applications. On October 29, the second day, the "Woman AI Personal Training Day" showcased methods for leveraging AI in work and career development.

The Seoul Women's Family Foundation explained that women visiting the venue after work participated in the lectures until late hours, with the enthusiasm running so high that applications had to be capped.

The Foundation stated that through this event, it confirmed the high demand for practical education on applying AI to real-world tasks.

Furthermore, it plans to discover professional instructors and educational contents through the Seoul Smart Woman Project, thereby supporting women's participation in economic activities and career development.

Park Jung-sook, CEO of the Seoul Women's Family Foundation, said, "Amid the AI transition and changes in the employment environment, the importance of education that citizens can immediately apply to their actual work is growing larger. We will support more women in creating new opportunities in the AI era."
