Krafton announced today (October 30) that it is producing a live-action series based on its flagship title, "PUBG: Battlegrounds," in partnership with Netflix.

Donald Glover, who won Emmy and Golden Globe awards for the series "Atlanta," will serve as writer, director, lead actor, and executive producer for the series.

LV3H, Krafton's entertainment subsidiary, is participating in the series' development and production, driving the expansion of the PUBG IP into video content.

The executive producers include Michael Schaefer, CCO of NEON TV; Pam Udeorji, creative partner at Gilga; Chang Tae-seok, CEO of LV3H; and Lee Su-jin, Vice President of LV3H.

Further details regarding the PUBG live-action series will be released at a later date.
