From OH MY GIRL's MIMI, who was born in Jeju, to Girls' Generation's Yuri, who currently resides in Jeju, and comedian Kim Sook, who dreams of living in Jeju—three women with distinctly different connections to the island embark on a special trip to uncover Jeju's hidden charms.
SBS released a teaser for the pilot variety show "Kareum Stay - She Go Garyeom" (literal translation) previewing the trio's delightful and unpredictable village travel in Jeju. "Kareum Stay - She Go Garyeom" is a village travelogue where the cast steps away from well-known tourist spots to stay in a "kareum"—an old Jeju dialect word meaning a small village—and live like local residents.
In the released teaser, an unexpected twist unfolded from the very start, drawing laughter. MIMI, who was born in Jeju, dropped a bombshell confession, saying, "I don't remember where I lived. I know nothing about Jeju." Yuri and Kim Sook, who had placed their hopes on Jeju-born MIMI, could not hide their fluster, sparking laughter.

Soon, however, the trio fully embraced the romantic atmosphere of village life in Jeju, enjoying a drive along the coastal road, eating ramyeon made with seafood harvested by haenyeo (female divers), and horseback riding under the sunset. They went on to spend healing moments gathering natural sounds in the forest and lying bareback on a horse without a saddle, repeatedly shouting, "This is so great."
The chemistry generated by the unpretentious and easygoing Yuri, the cheerful Kim Sook, and the quirky, charming MIMI is set to deliver warm resonance as it harmonizes with Jeju's hidden scenery.
SBS's "Kareum Stay - She Go Garyeom" will air on Sunday, November 1 at 10:55 AM, and will also be released on Netflix on the same day.
