Following the passing of actor Choi Bul-am (real name Choi Young-han), who was beloved as the "nation's father," Prime Minister Han Seong-sook stated, "I will forever cherish the inspiration the late actor gave to the people."

Prime Minister Han wrote on her X (formerly Twitter) account, "His acting career was the history of the Republic of Korea's culture and arts itself."

She continued, "Not only his acting career, but also the love he showed during his lifetime—such as supporting underprivileged children and children with incurable diseases, as well as searching for missing children—served as a great model for our society," emphasizing, "Together with the people, I will remember the actor who warmed the hearts of our nation."

Han reiterated her condolences, adding, "Once again, I offer my heartfelt condolences and pray for the repose of the deceased."
