Rapper and actor Swings (real name Moon Ji-hoon) has found a new home at the actor-exclusive management agency Ace Factory, launching a full-fledged acting career.
On October 29, Ace Factory officially announced, "We have signed an exclusive contract with actor Moon Ji-hoon (Swings)."
Ace Factory stated, "Based on the unrivaled presence and expressive power he has built through his music activities, actor Moon Ji-hoon has recently expanded his spectrum into the acting field. We deeply resonated with his diverse charms and capabilities as an actor, leading us to join forces. We ask for your great interest and support in his new beginning."
Swings took on his first-ever acting role since his debut in the film "Tazza: The Song of the Beelzebub," which was released in September, playing the hitman character "Abraham." He successfully passed the test for his screen debut by delivering an intense portrayal of a ruthless character who carries out orders without fear.
Bolstered by this performance, he was recently nominated for Best New Actor at the 47th Blue Dragon Film Awards, proving his potential as an actor. After his nomination, Swings drew attention by sharing his thoughts on social media, saying, "Just being nominated makes me feel so humbled."
Meanwhile, Ace Factory, where Swings has signed his exclusive contract, houses actors such as Lee Jong-suk, Lee Joon-hyuk, Yoo Jae-myung, Yeom Hye-ran, Yoon Se-ah, Lee Kyu-hyung, Jang Seung-jo, and Choi Dae-hoon.
