On October 26, police in Juneau, Alaska, USA, rescued a black bear trapped inside a vehicle.
A black bear had climbed into an unlocked passenger car, and got locked inside after the door closed.
Police were dispatched thanks to a report triggered by the sound of the car horn, but the interior of the vehicle was in shambles, with torn seats and ripped wiring.
Local authorities advised that bears can be attracted not only to food, but also to scented items such as cosmetics, urging people to be careful about what they leave inside their vehicles.
