SK Hynix recorded 104.6 trillion won in revenue for the third quarter of this year.
It is the first time the company's quarterly revenue has exceeded 100 trillion won.
This is more than four times the figure from the same period last year and a 32% increase compared to the previous quarter.
Operating profit reached 83.3 trillion won, more than seven times the amount from a year earlier.
This means the company pocketed 80 won in operating profit for every 100 won of revenue, resulting in a record-high quarterly operating profit margin.
The strong performance was driven by High Bandwidth Memory (HBM) for AI and server memory.
Shipments of the new HBM4 accelerated, sales of server DDR5 surged significantly, and memory prices skyrocketed.
On the other hand, net profit dropped 58% from the previous quarter to 39.8 trillion won.
SK Hynix projected that memory demand will outpace supply through 2030 due to expanding AI investments.
In the fourth quarter of this year, HBM4 is expected to surpass the existing HBM3E to become the flagship product in both shipments and revenue.
The company also announced that it has signed long-term contracts with 14 clients, securing supply volumes equivalent to more than half of its production capacity for 2027 and 2028.
It also plans to significantly increase investments in semiconductor production facilities next year.
In addition, SK Hynix is accelerating its shareholder return efforts.
The company plans to return approximately 100 trillion won to shareholders this year through cash dividends and share buybacks and retirements.
The dividend for the third quarter has been set at 20,000 won per share.
