Actor Ko Soo is returning to the romance genre after 15 years, showcasing his unrivaled suit fit and charisma.
On October 28, the production team of SBS's new Wednesday-Thursday drama "Nine To Six" (written by Choi Ji-oh, directed by Lee Hyung-min and Oh Song-hee), which is set to premiere on Wednesday, November 25, released character stills of Park Hyun-tae (played by Ko Soo), a new managing director dispatched to the automotive company Chronic Motors Korea.
"Nine To Six" is an on-and-off work-life balance romance drama where a rational woman who has lived by proving herself through work meets a warm and emotional man, prompting them to rewrite their standards for work, love, and happiness.
Park Hyun-tae, portrayed by Ko Soo, is a 100% rational managing director who evaluates employees strictly based on ability and performance, possessing an exceptional eye for recognizing the value of capable employees. Expectations among prospective viewers are running high as this project marks Ko Soo's long-awaited return to romance after 15 years.
In the released stills, Ko Soo clearly reveals the demeanor of a managing director who prioritizes work above all else, checking tasks on a tablet PC even inside an airplane.
What captures attention above all is Ko Soo's sophisticated suit styling. With his shirt buttoned loosely for a relaxed vibe yet paired with sensuous styling, he exudes the sophistication and dignity expected of an elite managing director.
Additionally, his deep gaze and charisma as he looks at the other person convey a heavy presence even amidst a soft atmosphere, doubling the multidimensional charm of his character. Prospective viewers are focusing their attention on Ko Soo's acting transformation as he seamlessly navigates between ease and cold-headedness.
SBS's new Wednesday-Thursday drama "Nine To Six" will premiere at 9:00 PM on Wednesday, November 25.
