SK Hynix announced an additional shareholder return plan valued at KRW 60 trillion today (October 28).

Following the recently completed KRW 40 trillion share buyback, SK Hynix will implement a total of KRW 100 trillion in shareholder returns for this year.

SK Hynix disclosed in a regulatory filing that the estimated size of its shareholder returns for the 2026 fiscal year is approximately KRW 100 trillion.

Cash dividends will account for more than KRW 30 trillion, while the acquisition and cancellation of treasury shares will total over KRW 60 trillion.

This figure includes the KRW 40 trillion share buyback and cancellation announced last August.

SK Hynix completed its treasury stock acquisition on the 21st, and these shares will soon be cancelled.

Cash dividends for the third quarter stand at KRW 14 trillion, while treasury share purchases amount to KRW 20 trillion.

Out of the treasury shares to be acquired by SK Hynix, KRW 10 trillion designated for shareholder returns will be entirely cancelled.

The remaining approximately KRW 10 trillion is intended for employee compensation and is not included in the shareholder return amount.

The third-quarter dividend is KRW 20,000 per share.

It consists of a regular dividend of KRW 10,000 reflecting improved earnings and a special dividend of KRW 10,000 distributing gains from the sale of shares in the Japanese semiconductor company Kioxia.

SK Hynix stated that it has decided to return most of the profits realized from its investment in Kioxia this year to shareholders.

The record date for the dividend is November 30, and the dividends are scheduled to be paid within one month from the record date.
