You will need to pull out your warm winter coats.

As cold air moves down from the north, temperatures are expected to drop sharply starting tonight.

Tomorrow (October 28), morning lows are forecast to plummet by more than 10°C compared to this morning in many areas, with Seoul dropping to 2°C (36°F), Daegwallyeong to -4°C (25°F), and Bonghwa to -3°C (27°F). Consequently, cold wave advisories have been issued for most inland regions across the country, excluding Seoul.

This will be the coldest weather so far this autumn.

Strong winds will also drive the wind chill temperatures even lower.

Until tomorrow morning, maximum instantaneous wind speeds will reach 15 meters per second in most parts of the country, with sudden gusts exceeding 20 meters per second mainly in mountainous areas.

Please make sure to thoroughly check your facilities.

Skies will be clear nationwide tomorrow, and frost is expected to form or water to freeze in many inland areas.

Taking a closer look at tomorrow morning's temperatures, Chuncheon will drop to -2°C (28°F), Taebaek to -3°C (27°F), and Daejeon and Daegu to 1°C (34°F), marking temperatures as low as late November. Daytime highs will linger around 13°C (55°F) in Seoul, Chuncheon, and Daejeon, keeping it chilly all day long.

There is some forecast for rain in western regions later in the week, and weather colder than average is expected to persist except for Friday.
