Actor Ahn So-yo is continuing her busy career streak by joining the cast of MBC's new Friday-Saturday drama 'Liar'.

On October 27, her agency King Kong by Starship announced, "Ahn So-yo will appear in MBC's new Friday-Saturday drama 'Liar'. We ask for your great anticipation and support for Ahn So-yo as she returns with a new transformation."

'Liar' is a high-density psychological thriller drama that depicts the fierce clash toward the truth between a man and a woman who make completely opposing claims over a single memory.

In the drama, Ahn So-yo will play the role of Han Bo-young, a nurse at Sangcheon University Hospital where cardiothoracic surgeon Min Jun-ho (played by Yoo Yeonseok) works. Han Bo-young is a character with a hidden story who is expected to add a mysterious atmosphere to the entire drama and stimulate viewers' curiosity.

Ahn So-yo has delivered impressive performances in every project with her delicate character portrayal. She showcased calm yet realistic everyday acting in tvN's 'Tomorrow is Another Day!', and raised the drama's quality with her soft smile and warm atmosphere in the recently concluded JTBC drama 'Fly High Butterfly'.

Attention is focused on what kind of acting transformation Ahn So-yo, known for her attractive voice and unique acting tone, will showcase through this upcoming drama 'Liar'.
