In Game 3 of Major League Baseball's World Series, the Milwaukee Brewers routed the Tampa Bay Rays 10-1, racking up a total of 16 hits.

Having won both Games 1 and 2 by a single run each, Milwaukee extended its winning streak to three games and is now just one win away from capturing its first World Series title in franchise history.

Milwaukee took a 2-0 lead in the top of the 3rd inning with back-to-back RBI hits by Christian Yelich and William Contreras.

The game was effectively decided in the 5th inning.

With two outs and runners on first and second, Contreras hit a ground ball to third base that was initially ruled an out at second base, seemingly ending the inning. However, a video review showed the runner reached the base safely, overturning the call.

Milwaukee capitalized on the opportunity to keep the two-out bases loaded. Tampa Bay pulled starting pitcher Peralta and brought in left-handed pitcher Cam Booser, but the move backfired as the bullpen collapsed.

Brice Turang hammered a hard hit off the shortstop's glove and into center field, driving home two runners. Following a hit by Garrett Mitchell and back-to-back doubles by Pratt and Sal Frelick, the score suddenly blew out to 8-0.

Although Tampa Bay changed pitchers once again, Milwaukee added two more runs on consecutive RBI hits by Ian Hamilton and Jackson Chourio.

Milwaukee erupted for 8 runs in the 5th inning alone, stringing together an astonishing seven consecutive hits with two outs.

This marks the first time in MLB postseason history that a team has recorded seven straight hits with two outs.

Tampa Bay, which was held to just one hit through eight innings, managed to salvage a run late in the bottom of the 9th.

Stepping onto the mound in relief was Milwaukee veteran Brandon Woodruff, who returned from a shoulder injury.

Making his World Series appearance after a layoff of over three months, Woodruff allowed two hits and one run, but successfully closed out the team's massive victory.

Chourio picked up four hits and Contreras collected three, while every member of Milwaukee's starting lineup reached base.

Having won three consecutive games in the World Series, Milwaukee now needs just one more victory in Game 4 to reach the summit for the first time in the 58-year history of the franchise.
