Singer Younha has notified her agency of 14 years, C9 Entertainment, of the termination of her exclusive contract and filed a lawsuit, citing unpaid settlements.

Younha's legal representative, Law Firm Illo, stated, "Younha's side requested corrections regarding the long-standing issue of unpaid settlements, but they were not fulfilled," adding, "Last month, we notified them of the termination of the exclusive contract."

Younha's side also claimed, "C9 also acknowledged through an official document that the termination took effect on September 14."

Younha has currently filed a claim lawsuit regarding the unpaid settlements.

Remaining issues will also be resolved in accordance with procedures stipulated by law.

Younha's side requested, "Younha will continue her music activities in the future," and added, "Other artists and employees affiliated with C9 are unrelated to this matter, and we ask that you refrain from speculative reports."

Younha first signed an exclusive contract with C9 Entertainment in 2012, continuing her companionship for 14 years.
