Singer YOUNHA has terminated her exclusive contract with her agency, C9 Entertainment.
On October 26, YOUNHA's legal representative, Law Firm Illo, stated, "YOUNHA's side demanded rectification regarding the issue of unpaid settlements that had continued for a long time, but because it was not carried out, notice of the termination of her exclusive contract was given in September 2026." They went on to explain, "C9 Entertainment also acknowledged via an official document that the termination took effect on September 14."
YOUNHA's side stated that they have filed a lawsuit claiming the unpaid settlements. They said they plan to sort out the remaining issues within the procedures set by law.
YOUNHA's side added, "YOUNHA will continue her musical activities moving forward," and requested, "Other artists and staff members affiliated with C9 Entertainment are unrelated to this matter, so we ask that you refrain from speculative reports."
YOUNHA signed an exclusive contract with C9 Entertainment in 2012 and had been promoting under the agency, even renewing her contract last year.
