[Anchor] Winning first place in the Lotto even once in a lifetime is rare, but an unbelievable thing happened, is that right?

[Reporter] Yes, three first-place winning tickets were issued from a single retailer.

In the 1247th Lotto draw held on October 24, three tickets purchased manually at a retailer in Hwaseong, Gyeonggi Province, all won first place.

There were a total of eight first-place winners for this draw, with each receiving a prize of about 3.637 billion won.

Among the retailers that sold the winning tickets, five were automatic and one was manual, and it turned out that three first-place winning tickets came from that single manual retailer.

If the same person purchased all three of these tickets, the prize money alone would reach approximately 10.9 billion won.

However, it has not been confirmed whether the three tickets were actually purchased by a single person.
