Wonju DB picked up a road victory against Anyang Jeonggwanjang (KGC) to extend their winning streak to three games.

In the 2026-2027 KCC Professional Basketball regular season away match held at the Anyang Jeonggwanjang Arena on the 25th, DB fended off a fierce late-game pursuit by Jeonggwanjang to edge out a 95-93 victory.

With their third straight win, DB maintained 4th place (5 wins and 3 losses), while Jeonggwanjang stayed in 2nd place (6 wins and 3 losses).

Jeonggwanjang's home winning streak, which dated back to last season, came to an end at 12 games.

DB played through unfavorable conditions as their primary foreign option Henry Ellenson and Kang Sang-jae missed their second consecutive game due to a headache and injury, respectively. Jeonggwanjang also played without their foreign player John Mooney, who was sidelined with a knee injury.

Propelled by a triangular tandem of Rayjon Hammonds, Jeong Hyo-geun, and star guard Ethan Albano—who fired away scoring both inside and outside—DB scored 65 points in the first half alone to build a 13-point lead.

In the first half, Hammonds scored 21 points, including two 3-pointers, while Jeong Hyo-geun added 13 points with three 3-pointers.

Jeonggwanjang launched a full-scale chase in the third quarter.

Holding DB to just 5 points over the first three minutes, Jeonggwanjang scored 10 points powered by 3-pointers from Lee Dae-heon and Rhenz Abando.

DB struggled against the pressing defense in the middle of the quarter and committed successive turnovers, allowing Jeonggwanjang to capitalize on those opportunities and narrow the gap to within 3 points with about 3 minutes left.

With Abando hitting a 3-point buzzer-beater, Jeonggwanjang narrowed the deficit to 79-81, trailing by just 2 points heading into the fourth quarter.

Jeonggwanjang brought the margin down to 1 point with 22 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter following a paint score by Dayvon Reed, but that was as close as they got.

Albano converted 3 out of 4 free throws awarded in the clutch, tilting the scale of victory toward DB.

Hammonds with 31 points and Albano with 28 points co-led DB to victory.

DB veteran Lee Jung-hyun sank two 3-pointers on the day, surpassing 1,200 career 3-pointers made.

Abando's stellar performance of 22 points and 13 rebounds was spoiled in defeat.

At the Jamsil Student Gymnasium in Seoul, the Seoul SK Knights defeated the Suwon KT Sonicboom 90-79 to claim their third straight win.

Their home winning streak against KT extended to 7 games.

3rd-place SK recorded 3 wins and 1 loss, while KT, mired in a 5-game losing slide, dropped from a tie for 7th with Changwon LG to 8th place (3 wins and 6 losses).

SK's Jameel Warney showcased his consistent scoring prowess with a game-high 25 points.

Among domestic players, Ahn Young-jun shined with 18 points and 7 rebounds.

For KT, early in the second quarter when two foreign players could be deployed simultaneously, Parish Bass and Trey Porter successively complained of pain in their necks and ankles, retreating to the bench.

With about 6 minutes left in the quarter, the duo showed fighting spirit by returning to the court to rescue their team from a losing streak, but it wasn't enough to capture the win.

Bass scored 21 points and Porter added 11 points.
