At around 11:22 a.m. today (October 24), a series of rear-end collisions involving four vehicles occurred near the Dongan No. 2 Tunnel on the Seoul-Yangyang Expressway heading toward Yangyang, in Dongsan-myeon, Chuncheon, Gangwon Province, leaving two people injured.

As a result of the accident, two women in their 60s and 80s who were riding in a passenger car complained of pain in their backs and chests, respectively, and were transported to the hospital.

Police are currently investigating the exact cause and circumstances of the accident.
