Massive personal information leaks have reportedly occurred at the operator responsible for the reservation and ticketing systems of Korean Air and Asiana Airlines.

The leaked data includes customer reservation numbers for Korean Air and reservation-related information for Asiana Airlines, which are estimated to have been compromised between August 2023 and September of last year.

Both airlines stated that they implemented enhanced security measures immediately upon being notified of the leak by the operator, adding that there were no signs of direct breaches against their own systems or internal databases.
