U.S. President Donald Trump said on the 23rd (local time), "We could do another little Operation Epic Fury. Or they (Iran) are going to make a deal."

Speaking at a campaign rally in Fort Myers, Florida, that day, President Trump said, "If they're smart, they'll say, 'Let's sit down and negotiate now.'"

"Epic Fury" is the name of the military operation the U.S. has been conducting against Iran since February.

Reiterating that "Iran is finished. Iran is finished," President Trump emphasized, "We have beaten them militarily, financially, and every other way. And now we are ensuring that Iran will never have nuclear weapons."

President Trump's remarks are interpreted to mean that the end of the war with Iran is drawing near, and that a massive airstrike could be launched against Iran before that happens.

He has previously vowed not to attack Iran until the midterm elections next month.

U.S. media outlets have reported that military operations against Iran are being considered following the elections.

President Trump repeated his earlier claim that he has resolved eight wars or conflicts around the world.

Mentioning the Russia-Ukraine war as he said, "We are getting close to ending (another war)," he added, "And another one is Iran."

"On our way back from Iran, we'll take care of Cuba, too," President Trump forecasted, adding, "What we're going to do with Cuba is, we'll be coming back from Iran, and those beautiful armadas will be passing by Cuba. We'll park one of them about 50 yards off the coast."

"Then they (Cuba) will surrender with their hands up," he added, "And then we'll send Marco Rubio (the Cuban-American U.S. Secretary of State) to finish the job."

President Trump has made similar remarks on multiple occasions suggesting he would deal with Cuba after Iran.

However, he has also shown the view that military action may not be necessary, predicting that the Cuban regime, facing economic collapse due to long-term U.S. sanctions, would collapse on its own.

During the rally, President Trump launched harsh attacks on Democratic candidates running in the midterm elections, calling them "Marxist maniacs," "ultra-anti-American radicals," and "Republicans chased out like dogs."

Regarding the recent anecdote where he asked Google CEO Sundar Pichai if the Atlantic Ocean could be renamed the "American Ocean" and was turned down, President Trump said, "It was a joke."

President Trump has issued executive orders renaming the Gulf of Mexico and Lake Ontario on the U.S.-Canada border as the Gulf of America and Lake America, respectively, and private companies providing online map services, including Google, have generally adopted the names changed by President Trump for U.S. users.
