A private ambulance overturned while driving on the northbound lanes of the Seohaean Expressway around the 145km mark in Seongsan-myeon, Gunsan, Jeollabuk-do, at approximately 12:38 p.m. today (October 23).

Due to the accident, patient A in their 80s, who was being transported in the ambulance for a leg fracture, sustained additional injuries and was transferred to a hospital by a 119 emergency crew.

A total of three people, including A's guardian, were onboard the ambulance at the time.

Police are currently investigating the exact circumstances of the rollover, presuming it to be an accident caused by driving errors based on the driver's statement that the steering wheel was shaking.
