Men's professional volleyball team OK Savings Bank wrapped up the Korea Volleyball Federation (KOVO) Cup by defeating Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance.

In the men's Group A match of the 2026 Yeosu-NH Nonghyup Cup professional volleyball tournament held at Jinnam Gymnasium in Yeosu, South Jeolla Province, on October 22, OK Savings Bank secured a 3-2 come-from-behind victory against Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance.

Their concentration stood out as they dropped the first two sets before claiming three consecutive sets.

Having already been eliminated from the semifinals with two losses in Group A, OK Savings Bank finished the tournament on a high note by defeating Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance.

Kyle Russell (registered name Russell), who struggled early in the match, led the comeback from the middle of the game onward by leveraging his powerful serves to score 14 points, including four service aces.

Kim Jung-ho chipped in 13 points, while Cha Ji-hwan and Mehran Feyzehdoust (registered name Peiz; both scored 10 points) provided solid support.

OK Savings Bank also dominated the opponent 11-4 in team blocking.

Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance, entering this season under head coach Tommi Tiilikainen, finished the tournament with three losses.

Song Myung-geun scored a match-high 19 points, but could not prevent the reverse sweep.

OK Savings Bank faced a deep deficit after losing the first and second sets while struggling against the opponent's serves and blocking.

However, regrouping from the third set, OK Savings Bank bounced back 25-18 as their dual-threat attack featuring Russell and Kim Jung-ho came alive.

Gaining momentum, OK Savings Bank pushed fiercely from the start of the fourth set to level the match.

In the fifth set, OK Savings Bank seized firm control of the game by pulling ahead 6-3 with consecutive service aces from Russell.

A shaken Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance self-destructed with a series of unforced errors, and at 14-10 match point, Park Chang-sung scored the final point with a block to complete the 15-10 dramatic comeback.
