The blacktip reef shark "Bukang," which had left the waterfront channel at Busan North Port, has been confirmed to have crossed the primary barrier known as a "pontoon" and re-entered the inner channel.

Bukang moved out of the channel yesterday (October 21) following authorities' third guided-herding operation, but re-entered late at night and is currently lingering in front of the secondary barrier net.

Authorities plan to conduct operations this morning to guide Bukang back out of the channel.
