Police have launched an investigation after a skeleton was discovered along the Han River in Songpa-gu, Seoul.

According to the Seoul Songpa Police Station on October 21, officers received a report from a citizen the previous morning stating, "There are human bones between the southern ends of Jamsil Bridge and Olympic Bridge."

Police dispatched to the scene discovered human bones, including a skull and leg bones.

The remains were found to be in a state of advanced decomposition, making it difficult to identify the person or determine any connection to a crime.
