The legal and management representatives of actor Kim Soo-hyun have officially requested YouTube to shut down the "Garosero Research Institute" channel.

On the 6th, they requested the closure of the channel citing violations of policies against harassment and cyberbullying.

It is also reported that on the 3rd, they requested the removal of 30 videos related to Kim Soo-hyun posted on the channel.

Kim's side stated that police investigations have confirmed charges of defamation and blackmail against Kim using fabricated evidence, such as AI-generated voice manipulation, by the institute. They emphasized that the channel must be shut down promptly to eradicate secondary victimization.
