On "Whenever Possible," actor Shin Seung-ho delivers big laughs with a surprising timid side that contrasts sharply with his commanding physique.
Airing on Tuesday, October 20, at 9:00 p.m., the SBS variety show "Whenever Possible" features hosts Yu Jae-seok and Yoo Yeon-seok alongside guests Shin Seung-ho and Chae Soo-bin as they search for spare moments across the Gwanghwamun area.
During the recording, Shin Seung-ho raised expectations from the moment he entered with his solid build and distinctive aura. Yoo Yeon-seok cheered him on, saying, "An elite force has arrived today!" However, once the game began, Shin Seung-ho entered an unexpectedly hyper-nervous state, catching everyone off guard.
Startled by the production team's countdown of "3, 2, 1," Shin Seung-ho pleaded, "Please don't count down the time. I'm counting the numbers by myself." Seeing Shin Seung-ho's shoulders shrink back completely, Yoo Yeon-seok responded playfully, "What are we going to do if you get that startled?"
Eventually, Shin Seung-ho became the first person on the show to undergo "pressure-tolerance training." Declaring a head-on challenge by saying, "I'll keep going until it works," Shin Seung-ho threw himself into endless practice until his leg even cramped up, prompting Yu Jae-seok, who was watching him, to burst into laughter and ask, "Seung-ho, why are you so timid?"
Shin Seung-ho's endearing, unexpected charm shining through his massive physique, along with whether he successfully overcomes the pressure, will be revealed on "Whenever Possible," airing Tuesday, October 20, at 9:00 p.m.
