This time, stray cats have been found one after another in Yeosu, South Jeolla Province, with cable ties bound tightly around their necks.

An animal protection group has been receiving related reports and conducting rescue operations for about three weeks.

Since the 17th, two cats have been rescued. Among them, one had three cable ties and a string tied around its neck, leaving deep wounds.

Following this, another report was received that yet another cat was spotted with a white cable tie around its neck, showing symptoms of vomiting.

Based on the consecutive similar damages, the organization suspects intentional abuse and has filed a complaint with the police.
