Title contenders Wonju DB halted the Daegu KOGAS Pegasus' pursuit of a fourth consecutive victory, escaping from a losing skid.

In a regular-season home game held today (October 19) at the Wonju DB Promy Arena, DB decisively defeated KOGAS 104-78, powered by a solid defense that recorded 11 steals in a single game.

DB, which had suffered consecutive losses to the Ulsan Hyundai Mobis Phoebus and Seoul Samsung Thunders in their previous matches, snapped their losing streak and climbed to third place with a 3-3 record.

Meanwhile, the KOGAS Pegasus, who were on a three-game winning streak, dropped to 3-4, falling into a tie for fourth place alongside the Goyang Sono Skygunners and Suwon KT Sonicboom.

Starting from the first quarter, foreign players as well as domestic standouts like Kang Sang-jae, Lee Yong-woo, and Lee Yu-jin pressured their opponents with outside shooting.

The game was decided early on.

Lee Yong-woo delivered a stellar performance by sinking two 3-pointers in the second quarter, while Ethan Albano recorded four steals in the second quarter alone, fueling his teammates' fast breaks.

Leading 50-34 at halftime, DB effectively sealed the victory in the third quarter.

Lee Yong-woo unhesitatingly drained outside shots as DB went on a massive 16-point unanswered run, stretching their lead to as many as 39 points right before the end of the third quarter.

DB's Lee Yong-woo showcased phenomenal shooting touch, sinking 5 of 7 attempts from beyond the arc to finish with 15 points.

Ellenson led the offense with 22 points and 6 rebounds, supported by Hammonds with 21 points, while Albano played the role of floor general to perfection with 16 points, 8 assists, and 5 steals.
