Singer and painter Solbi, who is getting married next April, appeared on a radio show for the first time since her marriage announcement and opened up about her romance with her groom-to-be, Lee Gyu-han.

Appearing on the "Street Romance Fighter" corner of KBS Cool FM's "Gabi's Super Radio" on the 19th, Solbi said, "Since this is my first broadcast appearance since announcing my marriage, I feel like everyone was waiting for it." She laughed and added, "Thank you so much to everyone for the congratulations. Being able to have such a blessed wedding is so touching and thankful. Please don't look anymore; I'm taken. I plan to show my charm for just one person now, and I've become someone who needs to watch what she says."

Solbi stated, "I thought it was right to experience everything I wanted in my 30s before getting married, and now is the exact right time for marriage. One of my goals was to get married straight away without any dating rumors, and I'm glad I was able to achieve that all at once." Regarding tying the knot without a single dating rumor with Lee Gyu-han, she answered, "That's the know-how from not having a single dating rumor in 20 years."

Solbi said, "I thought conditions and backgrounds would matter more since we are at a certain age, but being able to marry someone you truly love feels like the greatest blessing." Explaining why she opened her heart to Lee Gyu-han, she shared, "After the recording ended, he kept sending me apples as a gift. He sent everything from Aomori apples to seasonal and various types. I wondered why he kept sending them, and it turned out to be an apology (apology in Korean is a pun on apple) for not choosing me during the final selection. Then his name popped up after registering for a class I was teaching. I felt his sincerity in the way he tried to understand me and approached me at my own pace."

Solbi also introduced Lee Gyu-han as a "delicate, considerate, and warm person." She continued, "He is extremely diligent about self-care and works out every day. He is a man I can learn a lot from, and he is neat," adding, "My certainty that a reliable person who genuinely respects me is by my side is huge." This is why she decided to get married.

Regarding the meaning of marriage, Solbi said, "We weren't born at the same time and met by chance, so the fact that two people who lived completely different lives found someone whose hearts align is an incredible probability," adding, "The fact that two people promise to spend their lives together is an equally remarkable thing."

On the 15th, Solbi and Lee Gyu-han announced through their agencies, "Both families met together to share their intentions to marry, and we plan to hold the wedding ceremony sometime next April." The wedding will be held privately, attended only by family members, relatives, and close acquaintances from both sides.

The two appeared together last year as participants in season 3 of the KBS Joy program "Old-Fashioned Matchmaking," but did not choose each other in the final selection.
