Actor Jinyoung showed off his charm in a stylish pictorial.
Fashion and lifestyle magazine "Cosmopolitan" unveiled a cover, pictorial, and interview featuring actor Jinyoung in collaboration with an eyewear brand for its November issue. The photoshoot took place at a time when the tvN drama "100 Days of Deception," in which he stars as the lead, is gaining strong popularity after surpassing 7% in viewership ratings after just two episodes and ranking second on Netflix's domestic series chart in South Korea.

Under the theme of "Jinyoung's private time in a relaxed state after a busy day," Jinyoung shed his on-screen character Sato Hideo and captured the natural, easygoing vibe of his true self. He also flawlessly pulled off the eyewear styling, leading the atmosphere on set.
In the interview that followed, Jinyoung shared his feelings about the drama, saying, "Above all, my biggest wish is that this project receives a lot of love. The lingering memories of everyone filming with such passion are still vivid."
Regarding the process of giving a multi-dimensional portrayal of his role as Sato Hideo, the adopted son of Chief of Political Affairs Sato Shinchichi (played by Jin Sun-kyu), and the new interpreter Kim Tae-woong, he said, "In the beginning, I wanted Tae-woong not to stand out. From the moment I first read the script, I felt this character should appear inscrutable until the middle part, almost like a shadow warrior for his father, the Chief of Political Affairs. Even when his emotions wavered, I minimized my movements and facial expressions."
Looking ahead to key points to watch, he explained, "The texture of Hideo transitioning into Tae-woong is important, but the Government-General of Korea seen through the eyes of Ga-kyung (played by Kim Yoo-jung) and the changes taking place inside it are also crucial." He added, "Since the story is set in 1932, Tae-woong and Ga-kyung were born and raised in a homeland that had lost its sovereignty. Amid very limited choices, Tae-woong in particular experiences an identity crisis over whether he is Korean or Japanese. Following the two of them as they gradually discover the reasons to protect this country, I believe there will certainly be moments where things we only understood with our heads become felt with our hearts. It is a story of a past era, but it could also be our story today."

In addition to acting, he is also actively promoting as a singer with his second solo mini album "Said & Done" and concert tour "CODE#." When asked about the driving force that allows him to pour effort into both music and acting, he replied, "I enjoy doing it, I love this work, and because there are people who listen and watch, I've come this far." Selecting the "piano" as a bucket-list goal he wants to achieve in the future, he added, "I want to become a cool grandfather who can play at least one musical instrument amazingly well."
Actor Jinyoung's pictorial and interview showcasing his diverse charms can be found in the November issue of "Cosmopolitan," as well as on its official website and social media channels.
