The running craze is quite hot these days.

However, the athletes standing at the starting line here are a bit special.

Babies are crawling toward the finish line with all their might while lying flat on the floor.

This is the scene from a baby crawling race held in Cherokee, North Carolina, USA.

Babies aged 6 to 9 months, who haven't even learned to walk yet, busily move their hands and knees to engage in a rather fierce battle.

Well, it seems the enthusiasm of the cheering parents is even hotter, right?

A competition where everyone smiles no matter who wins! In terms of cuteness, everyone is a winner.
