Golfer Ma Seo-young claimed her first career victory in a playoff amidst driving wind and rain on the domestic women's tour.

During the final round, where all players struggled due to the harsh weather, Ma, who started the day as the sole leader, saw her shots waver and dropped a stroke, allowing Sung Yu-jin to force a playoff.

The match was decided on the second playoff hole.

Piercing through the fierce wind, Ma landed her second shot on the green and successfully saved par. By defeating Sung, who settled for a bogey, Ma tasted the joy of her first career victory in her 83rd attempt.

In men's golf, Jeong Chan-min achieved his third career victory with a total of 19-under-par.
